Did you participate in Light Up The Quay this year?  Do you like to see all the lights and to see your neighbours 'lighting up the season?  How about the new look by realitor Bryon Grove - what are your thoughts on the new logo to celebrate the 6th year of Light Up The Quay?

    I can't thank the QCB enough for all their hard work to make the Quay a fun and exciting place to live. The lights are so important to the season and I just love going for a walk and looking at them all. Thanks to all those who put up lights and make our QUay a better place to live.

    Thank you for the positive feedback. This year was a lot of fun as the LUTQ committee gained three committee members! We had a lot of fun planning and for the first time, we had a Quayside Community Board Christmas tree on display at the River Market. Next years plans include a corporate tree display and an even bigger Food Bank Challenge. Thank you all who participated, and congratulations to Excelsior, the official winner of the Food Bank Challenge. Winners of the LUTQ can collect their prizes at the AGM at the River Market Jan 30. Many thanks to our sponsors! Winners will be posted on the Quayside Community Board website. Happy New Year and all the best to the residents of the Quay!

    I like the lights of course. I think they would be there anyway without the prizes but what I really liked was the chance to feel like I was doing something every day or two by putting a bit of food in the donation boxes in our lobby. It seems like a strange thing for you guys to be doing but my hat is off to you for doing it.
